Unleash business flexibility and capability with Microsoft Azure

Overcome the limitations, burdens and cost of on-premises infrastructure with powerful, resilient cloud-based services & solutions

Azure hero image

Microsoft Azure is the cloud datacentre platform that enables organisations to create virtually any business solution, whether it’s a traditional server-based application with data storage and web front-ends, or complex server-less applications integrating media, machine learning, automation and more.

Azure provides the opportunity for any organisation to implement any application regardless of how much ‘infrastructure’ is required, or how complex the solution is.

You can create solutions in Azure that, in an equivalent on-premises configuration, would be extremely difficult, if not impossible. Furthermore, this comes without the ongoing admin burden, refresh cycle, datacentre space, power and related requirements of traditional physical infrastructure.

Infrastructure-as-a-Service

For those organisations looking to transition traditional applications to a cloud datacentre, Azure offers a wide range of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) capabilities, including networking, storage, compute, and security. Our experienced consultants can help you design, build, and migrate legacy applications to an equivalent, or better, Azure solution.

Platform-as-a-Service

Although it is possible to build traditional server-based applications in Azure, its true value is realised when its platform-as-a-service (PaaS) opportunities are leveraged. Our consultants help organisations to configure and integrate cutting-edge services from big data, media and artificial intelligence to security, automation, and more to create powerful, resilient, dynamic, and flexible modern solutions to meet virtually any business requirement.

We have been delivering Microsoft Azure consultancy since Azure was first launched in 2010 and have a wealth of experience and capabilities across the platform.

We’re here to help your organisation design and implement solutions that solve your business issues, whether that is deploying a landing zone or virtual datacentre, migrating from on-premises services, or implementing a solution using Azure’s amazing capabilities.

Create modern compute solutions with cloud flexibility

Azure’s Compute functions enable you to run virtual machines and applications in the cloud, with a variety of operating systems and configurations available to suit your particular requirements of processor, memory and other factors.

With supporting capabilities including networking, storage, backup, high availability, scalability and security, Azure enables you to build a virtual datacentre that is the equivalent or better than what you could reasonably achieve in an on-premises equivalent.

Azure Compute includes a range of other services, such as Functions, Batch, and Azure Container Instances, that enable users to run serverless applications, batch processing jobs, and container workloads.

We have built compute environments for many of our customers, ranging from simple proof-of-concept platforms to complex and significant data centre solutions supporting hundreds of virtual machines and related ‘infrastructure.’

Azure Compute offers a reliable and flexible platform for organisations and businesses perhaps looking to move away from a physical datacentre to run their applications and workloads in the cloud.

Flexible data storage to suit a variety of needs

Azure offers a large number of data solutions enable you to manage, process, and analyse large volumes of data. You can store data in various formats, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, and use a range of analytics and machine learning tools to gain insights from your data.

Solutions include Azure SQL Database, a cloud version of the ubiquitous on-premises product, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks, that enable users to manage their data workloads and create data-driven applications. Azure Data Solutions also integrates with other Microsoft tools, such as Power BI and Azure Machine Learning, making it a powerful platform for organisations looking to derive insights from their data.

Our Azure team has deployed many of these services for our customers to support solutions ranging from simple three tier applications to highly complex platforms with hundreds of Azure components.

Effectively secure your cloud services and data

Security is a key consideration for any cloud service and Azure provides many features to protect your applications, services and data from cyber threats. Security-focused services include Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud, that provide advanced threat protection, security analytics, and identity management capabilities.

Other security features include encryption, access control, Application Gateway, Firewall and Azure Information Protection to ensure that data is secure both at rest and in transit.

Azure security solutions are designed to meet the most stringent security and compliance requirements, including GDPR and ISO 27001, making it a reliable and trusted platform for businesses and organisations looking to deploy cloud solutions.

Our consultants have a broad experience and deep knowledge in Azure security solutions and can design and implement solutions that will provide the required level of security and protection you need.

Don’t let your Azure platform get out of control

One of the great benefits of Azure is that it is very easy to deploy whatever services you need. There is no infrastructure to build and everything is available instantly.  While this does provide a great deal of power & flexibility, it needs to be carefully controlled, to make sure that services are only built when they are needed, by people who have the authority and with the settings and configurations that meet the your organisational standards.  Without the relevant controls in place your Azure deployment could become unmanageable, out of control and more expensive than it needs to be.

Fortunately, Azure provides many policies, tools and options that allow the platform to be efficiently and effectively governed.

By using tools such as Azure Policy, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Management Groups, and Azure Blueprints, we can design a governance environment that helps you to control the platform, monitor usage, restrict expenditure, and enforce compliance consistently and automatically across your environment.

Simplify your Azure management experience

If you are creating a single solution or a more complex cloud environment in Azure, you will want to manage it effectively.  Fortunately, Microsoft provides many tools and services that allow you to efficiently manage and maintain your Azure resources and applications.

These management solutions include Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Resource Manager, and Azure Backup, amongst others, which enable your organisation to manage, monitor, automate, protect and secure your cloud environments while adhering to compliance and governance policies.

We design and deploy these solutions to provide centralised management, monitoring, and automation capabilities to simplify our customer’s management experience, to help them optimise their resources, and to control costs by providing real-time insights into resource utilisation and performance.

There’s much more to Azure

The Azure platform encompasses some 200+ services, covering aspects such as Machine Learning, Identity, Integration, Development, Internet of Things, Media and Web services.

Ultimately, Azure is an incredibly powerful platform, which allows applications and solutions to be created that can satisfy virtually any requirement, whether based on traditional services or modern serverless technology. Our widely experienced team has helped to build simple and complex solutions using many of these additional services for our customers since Azure was first available.
